COURSE DESCRIPTION
In this age of โlarge data,โ when we have access to a lot of information, the capacity to estimate population parameters, test population hypotheses, and draw accurate and reliable population conclusions based on sample data is very crucial.
Inferential statistics, a statistical technique uses probability and statistical models to identify trends and patterns in large number of numerical data. In this tutorial, we’ll use inferential statistics (correlation and t tests) to extrapolate information from sample data in order to make predictions and draw correct population conclusions.
The course comprises 9 lessons and 2 quizzes, designed with SPSS statistical procedures and operations. All the statistical procedures are presented in a simple, straight forward and non intimidating manner, devoid of technical jargons as much as possible.
The training is specifically conceived for participants with time constraints or busy schedules, and who may also want to take the lessons independently, at their own pace.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
By the time you complete this course, you should be able to:
- use SPSS procedures to carry out correlation and t tests
- interpret output of correlation and t tests
- report results of correlation and t tests in APA format
